Makes about 8 servings
Optional ingredients: 1 avocado, peeled and diced; 1 small cucumber, peeled and diced
Dice tomatoes, onions, peppers and optional ingredients. Chop cilantro. Place all ingredients in a bowl and add salt, garlic and lime juice. Mix well, cover and let sit for 3 hours before serving to allow the flavors to come together.
Like a lot of flavor? You can roast your tomatoes to add great flavor to your salsa. Heat a frying pan or skillet over medium high heat. Place whole tomatoes in the cookware and toast the outside until the skin begins to break and split. Remove from heat and let cool a bit before dicing.
